Bolivia has no strict statutory mandate requiring educators at children's centres to be certified in first aid: the regulation of the PAN Programme, run by the departmental SEDEGES under the Children and Adolescents Code (Law 548), requires staff to hold a medical certificate and the facility to keep a first-aid kit, but not specific training. Even so, having staff trained in first aid and pediatric CPR is the standard reasonably expected of any centre caring for young children.
